BOULDER DAM HOTEL - GALLERY

Boulder City, Nevada

All around wonderful!
“What a gem! This place was built as lodging for VIPs visiting the construction of Hoover Dam in the 1930s, and has retained many neat historical details. We stayed in a suite for 2 nights while traveling for our 10th anniversary. Room was nice enough with big tub, two tvs, 'fridge, little kitchen, comfy couch and cushy bed with old-timey decor.

Staff is extremely friendly and is happy to give recommendations for dining and travel.  Free admission to the museum (in the basement!) which has much better history and artifacts about the construction of Boulder City and Hoover Dam than the visitor center at the Dam itself.”

Great place to stay
“We stayed here while visiting Vegas and the Hoover Dam. What a wonderful place. Loved the historic building and the information provided about the hotel. Very interesting and comfortable. Breakfast was great too. Enjoyed visiting the little shops around the hotel. Nice, quiet and relaxing.”

Very nice historic hotel
“Stayed 2 nights at this hotel. Not a cookie cutter hotel by any means. In the middle of the historic town of Boulder city. Walking distance to quaint shops, restaurants, grocery store, banks and post office. Beautiful, well cared for parks are also in walking distance. The thing that makes this hotel great are the people, from the front desk, to the museum manager, waitresses and housekeeping ... all very friendly and welcoming. If you have a rainy day or need to get out of the heat I also suggest Goatfeathers across the street. Wonderful store full of all kinds of interesting stuff.”
